So I’ve gone back to these little beauties
with the helping hand of my tresonic.
& I have to say they where defiantly worth the retry.
I used these little beauties when I had just become a teenager and found them to cause me to break out a lot more so I stopped using them and started investigating in other cleanse and found
N07 beautiful skin - which I have to say will be a separate blog post...
but after using N07 for soo long I needed a change up (As they recommend you to change your face products after two years as your skin starts to become prone to the product.)
So I was on the hunt looking for a new face wash.. then one day I came across this little package in boots

So I was on the hunt looking for a new face wash.. then one day I came across this little package in boots
Liz Earle Daily Essentials £45.00 This is the perfect start up kit for anyone looking for a daily essentials face wash, In this little box you get : Cleanse & Polish hot cloth cleaner 100ml - You get a muslin cloth with it This cleanser its nothing like your ordinary clearer that you may have used, this has a creamy finish to it. The consistency is thick like a cream but light at the same time as you apply it. They recommend you to use a hot muslin cloth to wipe away the cleanse & polish however this is where the Twist comes I use my star Tres sonic (like a clarasonic) to wipe away the Cleanse & polish as I found it gives that extra clean finish that the muslin cloth didn't give, I found the Tres Sonic gets to the nitty gritty parts of my face too.. taking away the dead skin.
Instant boost skin tonic 200ml -
I find tit compliments the cleanse& polish perfectly leaving my skin feeling and looking brighter but also balancing out my skin tone especially around my cheeks.
Skin repair moisturise for normal/ combination skin 50ml -
So.. Depending on your skin type you will get a different cream.
The moisturise that I have is the ’normal combination’ & I have to say it’s really good especially if you tend to get little dry patches around the apple of you cheeks and on the tip of your nose. This little pot of magic will work wonders as it simply smooths your skin out, making it fee even targeting and moisturising the dry patches at the same time making your face feel & look healthy. Gentle face exfoliator comes with it 100ml - The is the only one product that I still haven’t come to turns with. Don’t get me wrong it is good little Exfoliator however I have found it to be too creamy making it feel like the cleanse & polish rather than a exfoliator however it has little beads in the exfoliator which doesn’t scratch you skin like other exfoliators do. I wouldnt go out of my way to buy the exfoliator as i felt it didnt take away the nitty gritty dirt on my face leaving it feeling refreshed.. however I believe this little beauty would be perfect for people with sensitive skin though and if your looking for a light gentle exfoliator.
Overall I have to say that I’m glad I went back to these little beauty’s as my skin hasn’t felt this good for a while now.
The combination all together has left my skin feeling refreshed & brightened - Yes I feel like I’m glowing :) As I would get uneven skin tone around my cheeks however this has evened out my skin without me even realising. I defiantly would recommend these beauties to anyone looking for a good skin care routine & at a budget.
Yes it is pricey from you general drugstore products however if you don’t take care of your skin now you’ll regret it later one.
You need good skin underneath for the make up to look good too. |
Hey Sunshine, ☀
So I heard about this little beauty from my cousins who couldn’t stop raving about it so I thought to myself why not put it to the test.
& I did...
The beauty of the Extreme Art Liner Pen is just beyond comprehension, makes you just want to stare at it for ages.
Extreme Art Liner Pen £18.00 |
Note - The packaging is supper duper cute, I loved the black bubble wrapped envelope = I knew it was safe * my hearts at ease* It’s sophisticated and different.
The excitement when I opened the little package to see this little silver pen was like when a child enters Toys ‘R’ Us for the first time, left goggling.
-- ☀ --
I have to say though the Eyeliner is just as amazing as it looks, as you can see in the photo above the pen is actually like a paint brush and does exactly the job a paint brush does Glides .
It glides easily and effortlessly onto your eyelids - trust me you don’t have to be a pro to use this little bad boy.
I personally was quite surprised how good this eyeliner was after using my cousins for a few days when I came back to using my normal Maybelline liner - Which I have to say was the perfect everyday eyeliner now isn’t. I couldn’t believe the
After using this eyeliner for even a day you will end up buying one
I promise you.
It just
Easily glides on ☑
Its a dark Jet black colour ☑
Waterproof ☑
Long lasting ☑
Don’t have to be a pro to use it ☑
Doesn’t dry up
-- ☀ --
Below I have done swatches of the Extreme Art Liner Pen & my everyday Maybelline liquid liner.
The Maybelline liner is like a felt tip pen & just like all felt tip pens they start to dry up. Just like this
particular liner after a while. Therefore affecting the application of the liner leading it to not applying smoothly causing it to come out patchy & dry, resorting to me having to buy a new one.
However with the AOM liner it doesn’t dry up as the tip is like a paintbrush however it requires cartridges just like ink cartridges yes :) .
The cartridges are £5.50 each however it’s just like buying a new liquid liner when your other liner finishes or dry’s up.
I do believe that if you don’t mind spending the money you’re better off getting the Artist of make up (AOM) Extreme Liquid Liner than purchasing a drugstore brand liquid liner which you will have to replace regardless after a month or so, whereas with the AOM liner all you’re going to have to replace is the cartridge which I still haven’t had to replace after using it daily for the past month.
If you’re willing to buy a new liquid liner after a few months why not just buy the AOM liner & buy the cartridges when need which won’t be so soon.
- I would advice to buy the cartridges when you’re buying the pen though Yes the pen does come with a cartridge already in it, however to save you paying £2.99 for P&P afterwards just buy an extra one anyway’s.
Maybelline liquide liner £5.99 |
This was my everyday liner if you wanted to see it, I still would recommend this little beauty to anyone regardlessly for anyone who's looking for a everyday cheap drugstore liner. It’s good application the only issue i have is that it drys up, so if your happy buying a new one after a couple months go for it.

However I’m going to keep on blabbing on about how great this liner is by Zukreat - Artist Of Makeup therefore
I think I should leave you on this high note that its the perfect eyeliner that every girl wish for.
Anyways catch you later Sunshine ☀

Is £9,000 tuition fees + expenses worth it for a piece a paper at the end when you’re paying for your materials, accommodation, food.. EVERYTHING?

This song is soo good that I had to do a blog post on it.
So my head is spinning in various thoughts right now, its one of those songs that you forget about everything!

So I’ve been lost in a whirl pool lately, just finishing my foundation in Art & Design at UAL
I have a lot of spare time to do a lot of unwanted thinking, putting certain things into prospective that I don’t want to make sense just yet.
- Uni - To go ahead & do a BA in Graphic Design or to go straight into the industry , which is a bit of a gamble. But I guess life about taking risks right?
Something to think about - What do you think? But would I regret it?
Is £9,000 tuition fees + expenses worth it for a piece a paper at the end when you’re paying for your materials, accommodation, food.. EVERYTHING?
Being at Uni what i had learnt so far through my foundation is that Art is all about Self Motivation. No ones going to push you, “YOU are your own motivation”
so... what are we paying for?
Being a design / art student is it not worth going out into the industry and work your way up?
But then there’s drawbacks,
- Getting your foot in the door;
selling yourself (not physical ;) don’t worry ) but personally.
The design industry is so competitive its pot luck, you got to have an outstanding portfolio ( which is something you build over uni - ✓ guess thats the whole point of design uni? Preparing you for the big bad world.. )
What’s your opinion?

LEON
Leon - Heathrow Airport. |
Skinny or Whole. Thick or Thin. Little or Large.
Simple generic words that can be phrased wrongly.
"what would you like skinny or whole"- Do you mean whole fat milk or skinny milk?
So I’ve been probnoring (problem ignoring) a lot of things lately & I honestly don’t know why.
Right now in my head I have a cluster
of thoughts that don’t even make sense,
Truth of the matter - I don’t want them to; thats when they become real
Why does one have to always think?
note to self - problem of an overthinking freak (as some would say) ;)
So one thing that has been spinning through my head lately is Eating
- once again we’re back to that stepping stone, I don’t know why but over the past three weeks now I’ve lost total appetite over food, I feel as if I need to be sick.
- note I know its wrong you shouldn’t be making yourself sick and don’t you worry sunshine I haven’t :)
I’m not gonna lie I have had the urge to but I gotta say I’m proud of myself that I haven’t,
& that in itself is a massive hurdle, so if your feeling the same way then give yourself a pat on the shoulder - well done girly for not being sick ☆ you may not see it as a massive thing for not being sick today but it takes one step at a time to accomplish something,
Got to start at the bottom to get to the top.
You’ll have your ups and downs I promise you, I still am.
But it does get better the grass really is greener on the other side.
tell me what you do when you have feeling like these because right now i feel lost, I know this is meant to be a encouraging post and I’m sorry its not.
But i would like to hear your opinion on what you do when you feel low.. I’m at that point at the moment where I just can’t be bother, where i just can’t seem to get anything around my head.
Weird but hey..
Thanks for hearing me out
Sunshine
